Preparing Combination States for Publishing
In preparation for publishing, you can specify the default combination state that will be viewed when the published model is opened in Creo View.

Default combination state has an asterisk next to its name.

Disable the publishing of specific combination states.

Set in the view manager or RMB on the combination state tab.

Figure 3 - Editing Publish Status In preparation for publishing, you can specify the default combination state that will be viewed when the published model is opened in Creo View. The default combination state displays an asterisk next to its name in both the tab name as well as next to its name in the view manager. To set a different default combination state, either right-click on the desired tab at the bottom of the graphics window and select the Default check box, or right-click on the desired combination state in the view manager and select Make Default.
You can also disable the publishing of specific combination states if desired. By default, all combination states are automatically published into the Creo View model. To disable the publishing of a combination state, either right-click on the desired tab at the bottom of the graphics window and clear the Publish check box, or clear the Publish check box for the desired combination state in the view manager.

Steps

Task 1. Set the default combination state. Disable all Datum Display types.

In the ribbon, select the Annotate tab.

Click View Manager
from the In Graphics toolbar.

In the view manager, select the All tab.

Notice that the default combination state is Default All .

Right-click the 2_General combination state and select Make Default . Click Close .

Task 2. Disable the publishing of specific combination states. Select the 8_Finish combination state.

Right-click the 8_Finish combination state and clear the Publish check box.

Click View Manager

Notice that the 8_Finish combination Publish check box is cleared.

Clear the Publish check box for the 9_Test and Default All combination states. Click Close .
