Reviewing Combination States

Review each of the combination states and perform any cleanup tasks as needed.

  • Add any remaining annotation elements to annotation features.

  • Clean up any unwanted items from the detail tree. Unerase

  • Delete

Figure 1 - Deleting Unneeded Annotations Review each of the combination states and perform any cleanup tasks as needed, including.

  • Add annotation elements to annotation features. The start parts may have an annotation feature in the model tree footer for various combination states if there are additional datum features to be displayed. Only notes, surface finishes, and symbols that need reference geometry associated with them, as is sometimes required for downstream inspection tools, need to be included in the annotation features.

  • Cleanup any unwanted items from the detail tree that are not displayed in the view. Unerase any hidden detail tree items.

  • Remove from state any unwanted items that you wish to retain for other combination states.

  • Delete any unwanted annotation elements that you wish to remove completely from the model. To delete an annotation element, you must first remove it from any annotation features. Once removed from the annotation feature, it can be deleted from the detail tree.

Steps

  • Task 1. Review the various combination states and clean up any unwanted items from the detail tree. Disable all Datum Display types.

  • In the model tree, click Settings Figure and select Tree Filters Figure .

  • In the Model Tree Items dialog box, select the Annotations check box and click OK .

  • In the ribbon, select the Annotate tab. Select the 1_Map combined state tab.

  • Select the 3_Properties combined state tab.

  • In the detail tree, select Properties_ALT_MATL and click Delete Figure from the mini toolbar. Click Yes .

  • Select the 4_Notes combined state tab.

  • In the detail tree, select Note_48 and click Unerase Figure from the mini toolbar. Right-click and select Current Orientation .

  • Click Flip > OK .

  • Select the 5_Datums combined state tab.

  • In the detail tree, press CTRL and select AE_SET_DATUM_TAG_A , AE_SET_DATUM_TAG_B , and AE_SET_DATUM_TAG_C .

  • Click Remove from State Figure from the mini toolbar. Figure
